THE STORY BEHIND THE STORY: “How Narayani’s voice found me in the temple, urging me to retell her story for today’s believers.”

This record of Narayani’s life came about serendipitously; almost like divine intervention.
In 2019, during my visit to the Rani Shakti temple in Jhunjhunu, I was performing the 108 pheres around the sanctum while chanting the Narayani Chalisa when I heard my conscious mind ask, who is she? What is her story? What makes her godly? Do you know?
Kaushalya and Her Kind-A Mother’s Day conversation

Yesterday in the newspaper the Mother’s Day ads were everywhere—flowers, discount, emotional taglines, and glowing tributes to mothers. Something about all those smiling faces and sentimental quotes nudged me. So, like any reasonably emotional daughter, I picked up the phone and called my mother.
From a Sapling to a Flourishing Tree: The Story of Ecstasy Chocolates

“They say that every towering tree begins as a tiny seed buried beneath the soil, waiting for the right moment to sprout. My journey—my dream—was much the same.”
For years, it lay dormant, hidden beneath the daily routine of motherhood and household responsibilities, unnoticed even by me. And then, one seemingly ordinary evening in 2001, a small nudge changed everything.
How I got my laurels

I have heard this story from my parents. Before my birth, a wise man from Patan, Gujarat, Chhaya Shastri, who predicted the future by seeing your shadow, told my father that he will have a daughter who will be vidushi (intelligent, brilliant).
Sweetistry: Baked with Love

Baking has always been more than just mixing flour, sugar, and eggs. It is an art, a science, and most importantly, a form of self-expression. My journey with Sweetistry began long before I even realized it—back in my teenage years when I was utterly fascinated by bakery food. The aroma of freshly baked bread, the delicate swirls of frosting on a cake, the melt-in-the-mouth pastries—I loved everything about it. Food was my solace, my little escape into a world of comfort and joy.
THE ATELIER WITHIN
Beauty lies in the eyes of the creator.
Beholder… as you would correct. But for a young, passionate designer who breathes designs and whose soul is woven from fabrics, it lies in the eyes of the creator. Each day, seated in my atelier studio, my imagination dances to the rhythm of the piano, and my pencil glides across the canvas of paper, bringing magical designs to life. I can already see the colors, the interplay of art forms, and the threads that will weave into the fabric, birthing a unique piece of embroidery. The soft hum of the sewing machine, the scent of fresh fabric, and the rhythmic snip of scissors against cloth fill my space, creating a symphony that fuels my passion.
Whisper that saved me

I broke my finger to fix my life.
It was 5 am and I was calling Vibha Ben frantically hoping she was awake and would pick up the call. I had forgotten she woke up way before that to finish her own household chores before she got down to ours.
The Privilege of Choice

True happiness lies in the freedom to make our own choices. The ability to choose fuels our passions and gives us the courage to take on challenges and thrive. I have always believed that the power to choose is one of the greatest privileges in life—it shapes our journey, defines our worth, and ultimately determines the life we build for ourselves.
The Chrysalis Within

They say a butterfly’s journey begins in the dark wrapped tightly in its cocoon, struggling against the walls that seem impossible to break. I was once that caterpillar, crawling through life with wings I didn’t know I had.
Shakti & Maa: The Woman I Became

I have always believed that life is a journey, much like that of a migratory bird. A bird that soars through changing landscapes, adapting to new environments, and finding warmth and shelter even in the most unexpected places. My journey, too, has been one of transformation, courage, and discovering my true self.
